Baked Apple Supreme

This dessert will remind you of apple pie without the crust.  The sweet apple taste along with the pecans will bring a smile to your face.


5 Jonathan Apples
Juice from one lemon
3 T. Brown Sugar
4 T. maple syrup
Pinch of salt
1 T. honey
½ cup dried cranberries
½ cup pecans


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Clean the apples then slice in half and core the center.  Place apples in a food processor and slice to approximately ¼” thickness.  Leave the skin on the apples, this is great fiber and it will bake just fine.

In a mixing bowl mix the apples, 2 T. brown sugar, maple syrup, salt, cranberries and the pecans together. 

Pour mixture in a ceramic 8” X 8” dish.  Sprinkle remaining tablespoon of brown sugar and honey on top of apples.  Bake for 30 minutes until apples are soft.
