Healthy S’mores

The girls wanted a quick and easy snack for after school.  We came up with these delicious bite size snacks that Dailyn named “healthy s’mores.”  The pretzel chips have no oil, and with just a small amount of chocolate drizzled on top, and the banana replaces the marshmallows so they are healthier than the original treats.  No campfire required.


1 banana, sliced
¼ cup natural peanut butter (no added oil, sugar or salt)
16 pretzel chips (Snack Factory brand)
¼ cup Enjoy Life brand chocolate chips
1 T. almond milk


Slice banana on an angle.  Spread a small amount of peanut butter on top of all pretzel chips.  Place banana slice on top of one of the pretzel chips and form a sandwich with another pretzel.  The peanut butter helps keep the s'more from sliding. 

Microwave the chocolate chips for 45 seconds and stir.  If the chocolate has not melted, continue microwaving with 20 second intervals.  Once the chocolate is completely melted add the almond milk and stir. 

Drizzle melted chocolate on top of s’mores and serve.
